Ana Gonzales bio
Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson, an artist's daughter, from Mexico was born into the music-loving parents of her family. Growing up she was influenced by the classical music of her parents, boleros as well as the classic romantic, ranchero, as well as romance ballads. Ana enjoys tangos operas and other dramatic performances. At age 16 she began singing and learning the piano with her mom. Flavio, a Mexican Tenor with a renowned reputation, began to give her more intense vocal instruction. In Guadalajara, she attended the School of Music of University of Guadalajara before moving on to Toluca at The School of Sacred Music. She sang in Guadalajara, Mexico City and different cities when she was a young scholar and professional. She sang with the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus in the United States before moving to the southern part of California. She sings with Ensemble XXI Redlands, and performs Latin American traditional music solo for many private functions. As a musician and teacher she has volunteered for many projects in the community because of her passion and enthusiasm for music. Ana was a member of both the Community Chorus of Redlands and Inland Master Chorale. She is currently a teacher in The Performance Loft. Ana loves to sing classic Latin American songs and hopes to inspire others to do the same.
