She played Karen Walker, a character in the NBC series Will & Grace from 1998-2006 and from 2017-2021. She also received nominations in numerous categories for her performance, for example, in the Screen Actors Guild Awards seven times for Outstanding Acting by a Woman in the field of a Comedy Series.
